FAQs

What is a virtual ASsistant?

I’m just like your good old office assistant, but we’ll do everything remotely. I’m essentially your catch-all girl for the things you don’t want to do, whether that’s organizing a spreadsheet of your expenses for tax purposes, sending canned emails to clients, writing blog posts, or managing your calendar. The fact that I’m virtual also means we can work on your time, so things get done quickly, efficiently, and worry-free.

What does it mean when you say 10 hours per month?

Okay, they’re not actual hours. I’m not timing myself and powering off my laptop when I hit the threshold. Essentially, I know how long certain tasks tend to take me, and you’re buying a certain number of tasks according to what you usually need in a month. I’ll get done everything we agreed to in our contract, even when I’m moving slower than usual. If you find yourself in a sticky situation, I have a special rate for “emergency hours,” too, so you can always tack on more help when you need it.

Why do you require a 3-month contract to start?

Every business is unique, and I want to make sure you and I have plenty of time to get to know each other and our work styles before you decide whether or not you want to continue. It may take a couple of weeks to get settled into the virtual process before things are running smoothly, and it’s not till after that dust settles that you’ll get a good feel for what life with a virtual assistant is like. Think of it as a trial period!

Do I have to book a discovery call?

Yes, please! Don’t worry, it’s not an interview - I just want to break the ice and give us a chance to get to know each other. It’s a little easier to brainstorm together face-to-face so we can tailor your package to your specific needs and address your concerns. It’s quick and free, and it will pay off a lot in the long run.
